Music Program (for all ages)At Isabel Henderson Kindergarten (IHK), we are proud to offer a unique and engaging music program that fosters the creative potential of our young learners.
In our music program, teachers collaborate closely with the children to bring their words, ideas, and stories to life through original songs. Children are inspired by their environment and current inquiry topics; each group creating 1 – 3 original songs over a year. Children also learn other IHK original songs, which have been written and composed by previous IHK cohorts. The songs are passed down and have created a wonderful catalogue of IHK original songs. Through this collaborative process, the children are not only exposed to the joy and beauty of music, but they also learn the importance of self-expression, teamwork, and the power of their own imagination. Our music program at Isabel Henderson Kindergarten provides a nurturing and inclusive environment where the children's voices are celebrated, and their creativity is unleashed in the form of captivating melodies and heartfelt lyrics. |
