5 days per week, Monday to Friday - minimum of two days
Cost: $139 per day 2025

Hours and structure of day
The 3 year old program operates from 8am until 5.45pm each day. The routine of the day provides predictable and consistent opportunities for meals, snacks, rest, as well as planned group times and spontaneous play and learning. Families can choose the times of the day for drop off and collection that suits their needs, keeping in mind that children benefit from regular and unhurried routines.

Example of a typical day:
8am – 9am                     transition from home to kinder

10am - 10.30am             group time with stories, class discussions, music 
10.30am – 12pm           outdoor play/inquiry investigation        
12pm – 12.30pm           lunch

3pm – 3.30pm               afternoon tea provided 
3.30pm – 4.00pm          pack up outdoors/ transition to indoors
4.00pm – 5.45pm          children transition to home

Kindergarten Curriculum
The curriculum is developed by qualified teachers and educators, and is designed to cater for children’s individual strengths, interests and needs across the day. Drawing on detailed observations, teachers plan and design curriculum experiences which support children’s development across the five learning outcomes of the National Early Years Learning Framework (AGDE, 2022), – these include children’s learning, wellbeing, communication, identity and connection. Teachers use intentional strategies and approaches to scaffold children’s play and thinking and evaluate learning which is then shared with children and with families.

In the 3 year old program children’s early literacy and numeracy are supported in a range of ways. Rich imaginative play gives children the opportunity to create stories, engage in reciprocal social conversations and express or make visible their ideas and theories. Play is the natural language of children and so we provide the time, space and adult guidance for them to develop their language skills in ways that are fun, engaging and motivate children to learn. Time in the natural environment provides children with moments to be curious, make predictions and think critically about the world around them.

The 3 year old program also prioritises children's social and emotional wellbeing, and sense of belonging. We recognise the transition from home to kindergarten as a time when some children might need extra support. Therefore, we provide lots of opportunities for children to connect and build positive relationships with staff and peers as they begin in the program. Families are encouraged to share insights and information with staff so that we can ensure our program remains inclusive and responsive to the individual needs of the child. 

​Dance/ Yoga Program
As part of our weekly program, the children participate in a dance and yoga class. The class, held in one of our multi-purpose rooms, is taken by dance teacher Lisa Sommerlad from Bindu Creative Dance and Yoga https://www.binducreativedanceandyoga.com.au/
Lisa's classes are highly interactive and inspiring for the children.

​Clay
All children participate in working with clay across the week. Clay experiences are facilitated by one of our skilled teachers Linh, who is an experienced and talented ceramist. ​
