Accreditation
IHK currently adheres to the Commonwealth Government’s Quality Improvement and Accreditation System (QIAS) and will adopt the National Quality Standard when it comes into effect on the 1st of January 2012.
The kindergarten will undergo it’s next review in August 2012 under the new National Quality Standard and will be assessed under the following seven standards –
- Educational program and practice
- Children’s health and safety
- Physical environment
- Staffing arrangements
- Relationships with children
- Collaborative partnerships with families and communities
- Leadership and service management
